Maine Maritime Museum

Maine Maritime Museum marine history, artifacts and art, shipyard, gallery exhibits, seasonal lectures, workshops and boat rides on the Kennebec River; free for children under six, family rate is $28, $6.75 to $9.75.

Laudholm Farm

Laudholm Trust was formed in 1982 as a grassroots effort to protect historic Laudholm Farm in Wells, Maine. Within a few years, the Trust's vision expanded and, with exceptional community support, the group spearheaded the establishment of the Wells National Estuarine Research Reserve. In the years following its initial success, the Trust has continued to support research, education, and management activities at the Wells Reserve.

Commisioned and built in 1879, Cape Neddick Light - popularly known as Nubble Lighthouse - sits on a small tranquil island just off the northern end of York's Long Sands Beach. With its handsome Victorian keeper's house, trimmed with gingerbread and red shutters, Nubble Light is one of the most photographed spots on the Maine coast. Lighthouses of Maine
